V1 Pro Studio Brings Rich Pressure Mat Data, Advanced UI, More Control to Pros
Novi, MI – V1 Sports (V1), creators of the industry standard in video swing analysis software for teaching pros and golfers, announces the release of V1 Pro Studio, the newest version of their signature software product. V1’s golf pro software is the 11th release of V1 Sports’ best-in-class video analysis software and a substantial technological leap forward for the pros who use this best-in-class platform.
Boasting a brand-new, sleeker and more efficient user interface as well as unprecedented integration of the V1 Pressure Mat, V1 Pro Studio is the most dynamic software offering in the company’s 25-year history. The powerful combination of live video capture, swing analysis, graphic overlay, plus lesson creation and delivery tools makes V1 Pro Studio an indispensable golf teaching aid.
V1 Pro Studio’s new modern-looking user interface sets the tone for a state-of-the-art video lesson experience with more intuitive control in the hands of the golf instructor. Coaches can now record real-time videos with audio using their live cameras and microphone to create tips, drills and original content directly through the V1 Studio Pro software.
“The V1 team is excited to present V1 Pro Studio, the most powerful studio software on the market for video capture, swing analysis, and lesson creation and delivery. Continuing a proud heritage of cutting-edge, industry-leading video lesson platforms, V1 Studio is truly a ‘Next Generation’ advance in the user experience for golf instructors and their students.”V1 Sports CEO Bryan Finnerty
With V1 Pro Studio, instructors can easily utilize the all-new vertical force graph from data generated by the fully-integrated V1 Golf Pressure Mat. The vertical force graph measures the amount of push or pull the golfer is generating on the ground relative to their bodyweight. In V1 Pro Studio, the pressure and velocity graphs now display higher resolution and more accurate data and the V1 Pressure Mat is now supported for four-camera systems, supercharging the amount of data an instructor can glean from each of their students’ swings.
The V1 USB 3.0 Premium HD Camera sets a new standard in terms of light sensitivity, dynamic range and color reproduction. The V1 USB 3.0 industrial camera provides excellent image quality with extraordinarily low-noise performance – at frame rates up to 240 fps (full resolution). The sensor is perfect for applications demanding excellent image quality even in low-light conditions.
Aesthetically, V1 Pro Studio reflects the company’s current branding including updated logos, icons and color scheme. Other technological breakthroughs featured in this software include the camera manager, which allows the user to assign any camera to any view and also assign any audio source to any camera, and the timeout setting which limits continuous recording time to conserve hard drive space.
Additional user-friendly upgrades include the separation of the pan and zoom tools which allow ease of access and gives the two tools their own home on the main screen.
V1 Pro Studio also features crash reporting, automatically reporting crashes and other software issues directly to the V1 Sports’ U.S.-based, industry-leading Support Team to ensure they are addressed quickly. Advanced diagnostics also enable speedy customer support. V1 Sports also reports that more than 100 annoyances, bugs and crashes have been fixed in this software version, making V1 Studio Pro the company’s most stable version to date.
Finnerty says future updates to V1 Pro Studio will include in-software support chat and the ability to create tip and drill videos through real-time recording (with full audio).
