V1 Pro and V1 Pressure Mat champion, Bob Usher, a PGA Professional and Director of Instruction at Grey Oaks Country Club in Naples, Florida, recently hosted a V1 Sports “Ground Pressure and Video Analysis” webinar.
In his role as Director of Instruction at Grey Oaks Country Club, Usher leads a team of PGA Professionals in managing the Grey Oaks Performance Center. He has been teaching with pressure mat technology for the past 6 years and is a strong believer in the science of ground pressure analysis and why it is such an important complement to analyzing the entire golf swing.
Speaking to how he instructs his students using the V1 Pressure Mat, Bob stated, “I’m going to educate their (student) hands and educate their feet, and everything in between starts working out pretty good. We work on footwork, and we work on the hands, and they (student) start getting pretty good. I don’t analyze the body anymore and I don’t talk to them (student) about the body, as the pressure mat solves it all.”
